Concrete masonry units are being installed to form the perimeter and corridor walls of the 10 new early childhood classrooms in the new addition. Eventually that will work will extend to the new art and music rooms at one end. Progress on the playground retaining wall has allowed the swings area to be reopened.
The contractor hopes to have the new early childhood, music, and art classrooms completed in the spring to facilitate interior renovations of the two existing early childhood pods into a new library and offices. Next summer the cafeteria will be reworked and the current library will be renovated into two classrooms.
