At the baseball-themed Bruins of the Year event on April 18, fourth grade teacher Lori Armstrong was honored as the Richard Kane Elementary School Teacher of the Year. She was introduced by student Khloey Pittman.
Fifth grade teacher Celeste Clement was honored as the Richard Kane Elementary School Rising Star Teacher.
Later in the evening, it was announced the Clement was the district Rising Star Teacher!
Jamie Beckloff was honored as the Classified Person of the Year for Richard Kane Elementary School.
