Junior Campbell Barta set two new school records last weekend at the regional track meet in Broken Arrow and joined 15 other Bruins in qualifying for the state meet in Yukon on May 12 and 13, 2023, with two additional alternates in the Relay.
Barta had a time of 11.92 in the 100 meter, breaking a 39-year-old record of 11.95 seconds. She also broke her own record in the 200 meter, going from 25.07 last year to 25.00.
